Hiring: Studio Manager

Firelight Studio is a video production cyclorama studio that rents out to productions big and small. We are currently looking for a full time studio manager. Duties will include independent management of the studio's operations. There are no set hours outside of weekly check-in meetings. Work is done on an as-needed basis. Position requires a flexible schedule, and will involve some early mornings/evening/weekend work (not to exceed 40 hours per week).

Responsibilities:

• Open/close studio for each rental (about 10 per month)

• Be on call during each rental (about 10 per month)

• Answer studio cell phone M-F between 10am-6pm. 

• Answer studio emails M-F between 10am-6pm. 

• Put away equipment & facilitate equipment pick ups 

• Maintain Social Media Accounts with 15 posts per month (Instagram, FB, Twitter)

• Create behind-the-scenes videos of studio shoots

• Troubleshoot broken equipment

• Schedule Studio Tours/Location Scouts

• Maintain Firelight Studio Calendar

• Outreach/Marketing

• Clean & organize of studio between rentals, including cyclorama paint touch-ups

• Schedule & Coordinate Monthly deep cleaners/Painters as needed
   

Qualities Required:

• Production knowledge/experience being on set in any capacity

• Proactive & self-motivated

• Extremely organized

• Friendly & helpful demeanor/Excellent customer service skills

• Not afraid of physical labor

Pay & Benefits:

• $40-45k/year + salary paid bi-weely
